Homeless flea
The Homeless Flea
is a 1940 MGM cartoon directed by Rudolf Ising.

A hobo flea finds an unoccupied dog and settles in, chopping down hairs, stringing a hammock, and building a fire. This forces the dog to take comfort in a fish-bowl, and to go after the flea.

A flea tries to build itself a home on the back of a dog. Of course, the dog tries to get free of the menace. It all escalates to a high-speed pursuit. In the end, the flea must face its defeat and try to find a new home.
